Cluny Mendez earned her B.S. in Mathematics Education from Moravian University, her M.Ed. in Educational Leadership from Montclair State University, and her Doctorate from the University of West Florida. She taught high school mathematics in New Jersey for 26 years, serving as Program Leader and mentor for new teachers.
In 2023, Cluny relocated to Florida and began working for the Pinellas County School Board as a math coach and high school educator. She has been an AP® Learning Consultant with College Board since 2022 — bringing deep content knowledge and practical instructional insight to educators across the country.
Known for her engaging, practical approach, Dr. Mendez delivers interactive professional development that blends rigor with humor and leaves educators with actionable strategies. Beyond the classroom, she has coached five high school sports and completed the NYC Marathon in 2022. She lives in Clearwater, Florida.
